AMG Architects overcame a challenging brief, strict planning regulations and a sloping block to create the inspired residence, “Bellivia”.

AMG Architects captured the colours, tones and textures of the local flora in both the exterior and interior materials and finishes.

The centrally located, tiered courtyard is Bellivia’s heart and soul. Drawing together the home’s four building elements, it invites in and complements the coastal surroundings.

AMG Architects continually play with the concept of synergy, connecting the building wings with innovative design elements to balance integration and privacy, and melding the delineation between indoors and out.

A relaxed, yet refined coastal getaway, Bellivia embraces Australian outdoor living.

Testimonial

"Several years ago we decided to move from the hills and to build a house at Point Lonsdale, a town with a great surf beach and a safe front beach for grandchildren.

After buying the block of land we selected a local builder, who suggested that we talk with architects Raj and Marc at AMG Architects. I met them and talked through our ideas, supported by my folder of cuttings, photos and sketches gathered over many years. AMG Architects set out to prepare concept sketches after an hour listening to my ideas.

We progressed through the initial sketches, the design and the final improved design that Council eventually approved.

With a fantastic builder and constant detailed involvement and direction from AMG Architects, the house that we wanted was created. Light, open, spacious, functional – visitors and family alike seem to automatically gravitate to the areas designed for them.

After nine months’ occupancy, we have given up trying to find a fault, or a “wish this was different” element of design.

Right from the initial conversation Raj and Marc listened and have designed and achieved what I consider is a perfect result. Added to which, they have a sense of fun and professionalism which has made them a pleasure to work with.

It’s a beautiful home and we love it."
